Welcome to the Uganda ORCID Hub

The Uganda ORCID Hub connects researchers, academic staff, and students with the institutions where they study, work, or from which they receive research support.

Through the Hub, researchers and students can authorize their institutions to access and update their ORCID records. In turn, Uganda ORCID Consortium members can use the Hub to make verified assertions, such as affiliations, grants, and works, on behalf of their researchers and staff.

To use the Hub, you will need to authenticate using a known identity source. If you are affiliated with a member institution of the Uganda ORCID Consortium that is integrated with RENU Identity Federation, select "Login via Federation". If you've previously linked your ORCID iD through the Hub, you may select "Login via ORCID". Otherwise, you will need to receive an invitation from your institution to allow the Hub to associate your ORCID iD with the correct organisation.

To learn more about what ORCID is and how it benefits both researchers and institutions, visit the What is ORCID? page.

For more details about the Uganda ORCID Consortium, its purpose, membership, and how to join, please see the About page.

To check whether your institution is part of the Uganda ORCID Consortium, please refer to the current consortium membership list.
